The Time Bandit Solution: Recovering Stolen Time You Never Knew You Had
by Edward G. Brown
Do you often feel like there’s not enough time in the day to do everything you need to do? Do you wish that a day could last 48 hours? Edward G Brown, who created and owned one of the largest business management firms in the U.S., doesn’t think we need more hours, but that we should simply avoid distractions and interruptions. In this book, he shares how to deal with people who interrupt us while we’re working (our time bandits), asking them to leave us alone in a way that will actually make them happy to oblige! But your worst time bandit is you yourself. So Ed also teaches us a few techniques on how we can effectively focus on a task and manage our time in a more productive way. Although most of the book focuses on how you can get more done at work, anyone, including parents, can use Ed’s tips and techniques to better manage their time and get more done. The author tends to repeat himself at times, but overall, I found his tips very helpful, and I’ll surely implement them! If you’d like to read the book, you can buy it on amazon.
